The Transcend Heat Moisture Exchanger (HME) is used in conjuction with the Transcend H6B and the Transcend H9M Waterless Humidification System. 

This is a replaceable (disposable) filter that provides moisture with the Transcend Waterless Humidification System by capturing heat and moisture during your breathing process.

Typically the HME needs to be replaced every week (7 Nights) or anytime you feel that you are not receiving sufficient humidification.

These are packaged and sold individually and should not be removed from their packaging until ready for use. Once exposed to air they will immediately begin to collect moisture.
