All Heated Humidification systems use Water Chambers that are replaceable. Humidifier water chambers may become discolored, cracked, cloudy or even pitted over time. You can extend the life of your chamber by using distilled water but over time the material will deteriorate and need to be replaced.
Recommended replacement every 6 months.
