Humidifiers

CPAP Humidification is an added option to your CPAP therapy. All current model CPAP machines use an integrated heated humidification system that can be used ( as an option ) that is specific to that manufacturer’s CPAP or BiPAP machine. There are also Stand Alone humidifiers that are universal and can be added for use with any CPAP unit. These are useful for the earlier model machines that do not have their own integrated system.

The Heated Humidifier works by passing the pressurized air from the CPAP or BiPAP over warm water where it collects the moisture and then travels through your CPAP hose. There are variable temperature settings ( depending on the manufacturer ) that you can adjust to suit your individual needs. Use distilled water and empty the chamber after each use to help prevent mineral deposits. Recommend replacing the water chamber every 6 months.
